Join us for Ashburton Elementary School's favorite back to school tradition: Movie Night! This year's film will be Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Advance ticket sales are now closed but you can still buy tickets at the door. Tickets include entry plus one popcorn and cotton candy per child.  

Movie Night 2024 Details: Know Before You Go

Here's the scoop on everything you need to know before you head to Movie Night on Friday the 13th:

Where: Ashburton Field. Entrance is on the far side of the parking lot, by the gym.

When: Friday, September 13, 2024. Check-in starts at 6:30 p.m. Come mix & mingle with friends! The movie will start between 7:30 - 7:45pm, after sunset.

What: This year's feature is Minions: The Rise of Gru!

This is not a drop off event. Parents must remain with their students throughout.

How do we get in to Movie Night? If you registered in advance, wristbands will have been sent home with your kids on Thursday along with tickets for popcorn and cotton candy. Please put them on your kid's wrist, show them at the entrance (far side of the parking lot, by the gym), and skip the check-in line. If you didn’t receive your wristband, email us at treasurer@ashburtonpta.org. 

If you didn't register in advance, please line up at the check-in table when you arrive.

Where do we pick up pizza? If you ordered in advance, we will have your name at the pizza table to pick up pizza. Reminder: There are no onsite pizza sales, so plan accordingly for your dinner if you didn’t pre-order pizza.

What about other food and drinks? Oleanders is generously sponsoring free bottled water while supplies last (check out some info from them below). We encourage you to bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. For everyone's safety, please do not bring glass. Clayboys will be available for purchase onsite.

What else do I need to bring? Bring a blanket to sit on and stay warm later in the evening. You can also bring chairs. If you do bring chairs, they will need to be set up at the back of the field so we don’t obstruct views of our littlest moviegoers.

Anything else to know?

• You'll be able to use restrooms by the gym. 
• Spirit wear with the classic Ashburton logo can be bought onsite - while supplies last!
• We'd love one more volunteer to help with clean up. Sign up if you can help us out.
